Doctoral candidates presenting dissertation proposals
All faculty, staff and graduate students are encouraged to attend two dissertation proposal presentations scheduled this month. In addition, any undergraduate students who may be considering the pursuit of a Ph.D. are welcome to attend.
Those who are interested can view a copy of the dissertation proposals in person at the Office of Graduate Studies and Continuing Education.
Doctoral candidate Paul Povlock will present his dissertation proposal from 4-5 p.m. Monday, Nov. 19 in the Young Building boardroom. The proposal is titled “Environmental Ethics and the Electrical Power Grid: A Case For Technological Momentum.”
Doctoral candidate Kirsti Svendsen will present her dissertation proposal from 4-5 p.m. Monday, Nov. 26 in the Young Building boardroom. The proposal is titled “Centralization of America’s Institutions: A Means To What End?”
