Mercy Week celebrates University’s heritage
Students, faculty and staff are invited to celebrate the mercy heritage at Salve Regina during the annual Mercy Week. The week will feature a celebration in the Miley cafeteria along with discussions on the critical concerns of mercy.

Luncheon dialogue for faculty and staff
Noon Wednesday, Sept. 19, Miley Hall executive dining room
Sister Nancy Audette and Sister Mary Pendergast will host this luncheon dialogue focusing on “Mercy and Our Common Home: Living Into an Integral Ecology.” Lunch will be provided. As seating is limited, those interested in attending are asked to RSVP to amy.cady@salve.edu.
Discussion: “Planting Mercy”
6 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 19, Mercy Center for Spiritual Life
Sister Nancy Audette and Sister Mary Pendergast will discuss “Planting Mercy: Why Care of the Earth and Care for the Poor are One Issue.” Audette and Pendergast are certified facilitators and trainers for the Awakening the Dreamer/Changing the Dream Symposium. They serve on the board of directors of Mercy Ecology, which sponsors Mercy Farm in Benson, Vermont. Both are very involved in local earth issues and serve on the Critical Concerns Collaborative of the Sisters of Mercy.
Mercy Day celebration

In recognition of Mercy Day, and to celebrate the contributions of faculty and staff, today’s Irish-themed lunch will be complimentary for all employees. In addition, representatives from the Sisters of Mercy, Mercy Associates, Mercy Volunteer Corps, Mercy in Motion and Sigma Phi Sigma will be on hand in the lobby.

Enjoy high tea with Julia Morisi ’17, a graduate student at Boston University, who will reflect on her year of service with the Mercy Volunteer Corps.
