Pell Center sponsoring final presidential debate watch
It’s coming down to the wire. With the November elections just days away, the Pell Center for International Relations and Public Policy will sponsor its final issues forum and presidential debate watch at 8 p.m. Monday, Oct. 22 in the Bazarsky Lecture Hall.
With two debates under the candidates’ belts, campaign 2012 heads into the homestretch with a debate intended to be focused on foreign policy choices. The Pell Center will conclude its debate-watch series with student remarks and a briefing by executive director Jim Ludes – a veteran of the last two presidential campaigns – who will share his views on the national security challenges facing the next president, no matter who wins.
Representatives from the Pell Center will survey the audience for opinions before and after the debate. Popcorn and refreshments will be provided.
To RSVP, contact the Pell Center at (401) 341-2927 or pellcenter@salve.edu.
