Activities and dining hours for Easter break

As Salve Regina celebrates Easter, the University acknowledges that it’s a different kind of Easter break due to the restrictions that are still in place with the pandemic. Many students aren’t going home, but there are still ways to celebrate Easter and find joy in the new spring season blooming across the University.

Below are a list of events happening throughout the weekend, as well as the altered Sodexo Dining Services hours.

Easter Weekend Activities

The Office of Student Engagement 

Friday, April 2

  • 9 a.m. – 12 a.m. Gerety Hall open
  • 7 p.m. – Jackbox Virtual Game Night with chance to win a $15 gift card (all virtual events can be accessed here).

Saturday, April 3

  • 2 p.m. – 12 a.m. Gerety Hall open
  • 3 p.m. – Grab N Go Lego Kits in Gerety Hall
  • 7 p.m. – Virtual Trivia with chance to win a $15 gift card (all virtual events can be accessed here).

Sunday, April 4

  • Gerety Hall closed

Monday, April 5

  • 9 a.m. – 11 p.m. Gerety Hall open
  • 7 p.m. Jackbox Virtual Game Night with chance to win a $15 gift card (all virtual events can be accessed here).

Sodexo Dining Services hours

Sodexo Dining Services has also announced modified dining hours at all locations on campus for Easter weekend.

Miley Dining Hall

  • Brunch from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. and dinner from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Thursday, April 1 through Sunday, April 4
  • Brunch from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. and dinner from 5-7:30 p.m. Monday, April 5

Miley Mart/Starbucks

  • Closing at 4 p.m. Wednesday, March 31
  • 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday, April 1
  • 6-10 p.m. Friday, April 2 through Monday, April 5

McKillop Library Cafe

  • Closing at 9:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 31
  • 3-9:30 p.m. Thursday, April 1
  • Closed Friday, April 2 through Sunday, April 4
  • 7-11 p.m. Monday, April 5

Jazzman/Sandella’s

  • Closing at 3 p.m. Wednesday, March 31
  • Closed Thursday, April 1 through Monday, April 5
