Alumni, parents and friends invited to July events

Members of the Salve Regina community are invited to join the Office of Alumni, Parent and Family Programs for a variety of activities throughout the month of July. For more information on any of the events listed below, contact the office at (800) 821-2343 or alumni@salve.edu.

Pawtucket Red Sox

Enjoy an all-you-can-eat barbecue lunch under the tent at McCoy Stadium, then watch from the tent or the bleachers as the PawSox take on the Buffalo Bisons. The barbecue begins at 11:05 a.m. Sunday, July 14, with the first pitch scheduled for 1:05 p.m.

Registration is $20, which includes a $5 gift to Friends of Seahawks Athletics. The first 4,000 fans entering the stadium will receive a PawSox cap. After the game, all fans are welcome to run the bases.

Boston Regional Event

Reconnect with old friends at Central Wharf Co. located on Milk Street in the Financial District, just steps from the waterfront. The reception will be held from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, July 18, and will include complimentary appetizers and a cash bar.

International Polo Series

Reserve your spot and stomp the divots as the United States takes on Palm Beach in the International Polo Series. Tailgating at the Glen Farm polo grounds begins at 3 p.m. Saturday, July 27, with the match starting at 5 p.m.

Join fellow alumni, parents and friends at sites 70-73. A complimentary signature drink and light appetizers will be provided; guests are encouraged to bring their own chairs, blankets, food and drinks. Registration is $25, which includes a $5 gift to the Legacy Family Scholarship.

      Meet with a member of Admissions Office to hear about Salve Regina's mission, campus life and academics directly from an admissions counselor in a group setting. It's a great introduction to Salve Regina and all the opportunities that exist for you here. 

      A virtual information session is designed for those who are in the college search and application process. If you would like to learn more about Salve Regina University and have your questions answered in a live chat, this is the best place to start. Our sessions last approximately one hour.

      You will also be able to view our virtual tour as part of your registration for this presentation.

    • Reunion Weekend
      Friday, June 3 to Sunday, June 5

      Reunion Weekend will be packed with exciting events both on and off campus. It's been too long since we've been able to welcome you to campus for a reunion celebration, so these events are sure to be worth the trip back to Newport. Return to campus and reconnect with your classmates - all alumni are welcome to attend.

      Hear from University leaders the state of student life and where Salve Regina is headed. Whether you’ve recently graduated or you’re returning after a hiatus, campus has updates!
