Annual ceremony celebrates scholars and scholarships

The Office of Advancement will celebrate scholars and scholarships during the Fall Festival Awards Ceremony, scheduled for 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 22 in Ochre Court.

In addition to honoring student scholarship recipients, the annual ceremony recognizes the alumni, parents and friends who have established named funds at Salve Regina and celebrates their vision, generosity and commitment to the University and its students.

The ceremony also includes the Office of Alumni/Parent Programs awards, which foster lasting connections with alumni while also recognizing their lifetime achievements. This year’s recipients include:

  • Distinguished Alumna: Nancy C. Cardoza ’85
  • Distinguished Graduate Alumna: Denise M. Abraham ’94 (M)
  • Salve Regina Mission Award: Eileen Jeanes Jachna ’62
  • Outstanding Young Alumna: Devon B. Luty-Swenson ’05
  • Exceptional Parent Volunteers: Carroll J. Hughes and Jean Cronin Hughes, parents of Sean P. Hughes ’16

      You will also be able to view our virtual tour as part of your registration for this presentation.
