Annual SRyou exposition showcases students’ work, experiences

From flocking patterns of the black-capped chickadee to the art of gerrymandering, the interests of Salve Regina students are wide-ranging and diverse. On Wednesday, March 27, hundreds of the University’s undergraduates will showcase their curricular, co-curricular and extracurricular involvements during the annual SRyou Student Exposition.

Themed “Ten Years of Branching Out,” SRyou 2019 will feature dozens of posters, table displays, classroom presentations, exhibits, and performances taking place between 9:30 a.m. and 3 p.m.

SRyou program of events

Program at a glance:

  • 9:30-10:30 a.m. – Student posters, table displays and service projects in the O’Hare Academic Building
  • 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. – Art display and performances in the Antone Academic Center
  • 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. – Dance, music and theater collaboration in Angelus Hall
  • 12:30-1:30 p.m. – Taco bar catered by Flat Waves in the O’Hare Academic Building
  • 1:30-2:30 p.m. – Posters, table displays and service projects in the O’Hare Academic Building
  • 1:30-3 p.m. – Classroom presentations in the O’Hare Academic Building
  • 3-5 p.m. – Closing ceremony and ice cream social in Ochre Court

      A virtual information session is designed for those who are in the college search and application process. If you would like to learn more about Salve Regina University and have your questions answered in a live chat, this is the best place to start. Our sessions last approximately one hour.

      You will also be able to view our virtual tour as part of your registration for this presentation.

    • Reunion Weekend
      Friday, June 3 to Sunday, June 5

      Reunion Weekend will be packed with exciting events both on and off campus. It's been too long since we've been able to welcome you to campus for a reunion celebration, so these events are sure to be worth the trip back to Newport. Return to campus and reconnect with your classmates - all alumni are welcome to attend.

      Hear from University leaders the state of student life and where Salve Regina is headed. Whether you’ve recently graduated or you’re returning after a hiatus, campus has updates!
