Between now and March 1, all rising sophomores, juniors and seniors for fall 2021 are encouraged to apply for a variety of scholarships. Faculty and staff are also encouraged to recommend students for the 50th Anniversary Scholarship and the Pioneer Class of ’51 Scholarship, among others.

There are a number of scholarships for business majors, education majors and nursing majors, as well as scholarships for a range of other majors, interests and grade levels.

Some scholarships to highlight include:

Jackson Family Endowed Scholarship Fund

Open to sophomores, juniors, and seniors with GPA 3.0 or higher, this scholarship seeks to encourage students whose road has not been straight or smooth, but who are determined to serve, to strive and not to yield. Eligible majors are: chemistry, biology and biomedical sciences, education, history, mathematical sciences or nursing. Students must demonstrate sincere patriotism as a U.S. Citizen. See form for details.

Friends of Sister Jane Gerety Scholarship

This scholarship assists student with financial need and promotes the ideal that Salve Regina be accessible to all regardless of need. Students eligible for this scholarship must have a GPA of at least 3.0 and demonstrate financial need.

Dr. Stephen L. Trainor Scholarship

Dr. Stephen L. Trainor Scholarship honors faculty member Dr. Stephen Trainor for the care and consideration he demonstrated for the donor at a pivotal point in his life. The fund assists undergraduate students who have significant financial need and are members of the LGBTQ community. Open to all grade levels, students will self-identify or may be identified by a faculty or staff member for consideration. Applicants will write a short paragraph about how the scholarship speaks to them.
