“Beyond Salve” to explore graduate school, careers in history

Students interested in graduate school and careers in history are invited to attend the mini-workshop “Beyond Salve.” Sponsored by the Department of History, the workshop is scheduled for 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 15 in the Antone Academic Center, Room 107.
The workshop will feature presentations from the following:
- Dr. Evelyn Sterne, associate professor of history at the University of Rhode Island, who will discuss “Getting Into Graduate School.”
- Nicole Voci ’12, history and theology teacher at Bishop Connolly High School, who will discuss “Experiencing Graduate School and Teaching History.”
- Gavin Black ’99, in-house counsel at Moran Shipping Agencies, who will discuss “Using History in One’s Career.”
- Michael Wisnewski, director of career development at Salve Regina, who will discuss “Developing a Plan.”
