Career Week will offer students programming around landing a job post-college

From Nov. 9-15, the Office of Career Development will be offering Career Week. A newer initiative of the office, Career Week is a schedule of virtual events for undergraduate students to give them advice on landing a career after college. Events will include topics like career paths like nursing, interviewing skills, LinkedIn pages and more.

These events are open to all undergraduate students, and anyone can register for individual events through Handshake.

Nursing Career Connections Night
Tuesday, Nov. 9, at 6 p.m.
Online Event

This virtual program is designed to help students become better prepared for careers in nursing by hearing advice and insights directly from Salve Regina alumni and professionals working in a variety of roles within the health care field. This program is collaboratively sponsored by the Student Nursing Organization, the Department of Nursing and the Office of Career Development.

Interview Prep Workshop with Caitlin Bailey and Dominique Gagnier
Wednesday, Nov. 11, at 6 p.m.
Online Event

Join Caitlin Bailey, associate director, and Dominique Gagnier, assistant director of the Office of Career Development, for this virtual programs featuring some interviewing tips and tricks. Interested students should pre-register through Handshake for more information and access to the Zoom link.

Administration of Justice Career Connections Night 
Thursday, Nov. 11, at 6 p.m.

A collaborative effort between the Department of Administration of Justice and the Office of Career Development, this virtual program is designed to help students become better prepared for careers by hearing professional advice and insights from alumni working in different fields. Interested students should pre-register through Handshake for more information and access to the Zoom link.

Friday, Nov. 12, at Noon
Online Event

      A virtual information session is designed for those who are in the college search and application process. If you would like to learn more about Salve Regina University and have your questions answered in a live chat, this is the best place to start. Our sessions last approximately one hour.

      You will also be able to view our virtual tour as part of your registration for this presentation.

      Reunion Weekend will be packed with exciting events both on and off campus. It's been too long since we've been able to welcome you to campus for a reunion celebration, so these events are sure to be worth the trip back to Newport. Return to campus and reconnect with your classmates - all alumni are welcome to attend.
