The MLK Center needs help at the race finish line at the Citizens Bank branch in Washington Square. Duties include crowd control, cheering for runners, handing out water and race medals and general race support. Office of Community Service Food Drive

Non-perishable food items will be collected throughout resident halls and campus offices and will be donated to the annual feed-a-friend fundraiser held by the Office of Community Service. If you or any sports teams or clubs would like to donate a basket, e-mail community.services@salve.edu.

Methodist Community Gardens

The Methodist Community Gardens is seeking volunteers to commit to weekly volunteer opportunities at their gardens. Tasks would include harvesting food that will be donated to shelters and group homes such as the MLK Center and the McKinney Shelter. If interested, contact lswwood@cox.net.
