Outside hitter Jennifer Duggan ’15 was named the Commonwealth Coast Conference player of the week for women’s volleyball after helping the Seahawks post a 5-1 record last week.

Duggan had a career-high 20 kills, along with 14 digs, for a double-double in a 3-1 conference victory over Endicott College. With the win, the Seahawks remain the only unbeaten team in conference play.

Duggan recorded another double-double (15 kills, 16 digs) later in the week in a tough 3-1 loss to Clark University. On the week, she averaged 4.38 kills per set, 3.75 digs per set and hit .299, while also tallying four service aces and four blocks.

Duggan and the rest of the Seahawks look to start another winning streak as they take on conference opponent Curry College Oct. 15 before competing in the Rhody Four hosted by Johnson & Wales University on Saturday, Oct. 19.
