Employees honored during annual recognition ceremony

Brooke Newsome, community relations assistant, received the staff community service award during the annual holiday social and service recognition ceremony Dec. 19, 2018. In addition, President Jane Gerety, RSM, honored more than 35 employees for their service to Salve Regina.

Last June, Newsome participated in a humanitarian service trip to Poland, where she and her daughters helped to run a summer camp for Ukrainian orphans. She is very involved with families who have adopted children and lends her talents as an interpreter in a multitude of ways. On several occasions, Newsome has traveled to welcome and serve as an escort for children who will be spending time with families in the U.S. during the holidays.

      A virtual information session is designed for those who are in the college search and application process. If you would like to learn more about Salve Regina University and have your questions answered in a live chat, this is the best place to start. Our sessions last approximately one hour.

      You will also be able to view our virtual tour as part of your registration for this presentation.

      Reunion Weekend will be packed with exciting events both on and off campus.
