Female undergraduates invited to apply for Vision of Mercy Scholarship

From now until March 31, the Office of Advancement is encouraging female students to apply for the Vision of Mercy Scholarship.

The Vision of Mercy Scholarship provides funding to female students who are committed to the materially poor, to peace and justice, and to working with advocacy groups on behalf of underserved individuals aligned with the Critical Concerns of the Sisters of Mercy: immigration, earth, racism, non-violence and women.

The applicant must submit a 1500-word essay and two letters of recommendation that demonstrate her leadership role in working for change. The essay will include the student’s vision for mercy and justice in the world and her current and future plans to work toward systemic change in one of the areas of concern.
