Getting ready for the celebration of generosity on Giving Tuesday

Everyone knows about Black Friday, Small Business Saturday and Cyber Monday. But Tuesday, Dec. 1, is Giving Tuesday, and people across the globe are joining together in acts of giving as part of a generous holiday tradition.

On Giving Tuesday, people everywhere – including retailers, charities, online organizations, community centers, individuals, families and more – come together with one common purpose: to help others and incentivize ways to give more, give smarter and celebrate the spirit of giving.

Salve Regina is proud to join in Giving Tuesday as a global day of generosity. This year, the University is grateful to the Providence Journal Charitable Legacy Fund for offering a $25,000 challenge gift if Salve Regina earns 250 more donors by Dec. 1.

The Office of Advancement encourages members of the University community to make their annual gift on this day. The Salve Regina community can be a part of the #HeartofSalve by making a gift to Salve Regina by Dec. 1 using this link.
