Graduate, continuing education programs hosting open house

The Office of Graduate Studies and Continuing Education will hold an open house from 4-6 p.m. Wednesday, March 27 at the Center for Adult Education, located at 144 Metro Center Blvd in Warwick. Prospective students are invited to meet one-on-one with the program directors for the University’s doctoral, master’s and continuing education programs, as well as with representatives from admissions and financial aid.
“Salve Regina’s graduate programs are in an exciting period of growth and expansion,” said Dr. Tobias Stapleton, dean of graduate studies and continuing education. “We introduced a fully online Ph.D. in international relations, a master of science in nursing, a master of fine arts in creative writing, and an online RN to B.S. in nursing program in the past year alone. All of our programs are affordable, accredited and taught by faculty who are not only scholars but practitioners as well.”
Salve Regina confers 17 advanced degrees, including doctorates in humanities, international relations and nursing along with 14 master’s degrees in the areas of administration of justice and homeland security, business, mental health and substance abuse counseling, international relations, health care administration, leadership and nursing. Programs are designed to accommodate working adults, with classes held online or in the evenings.
“For anyone considering an advanced degree to further their career or to refresh their skills in a rapidly changing field, now is a great time to look at Salve Regina,” said Tiffany McClanaghan, director of graduate studies and continuing education. “Our dedicated faculty are committed to helping you succeed, whether you take classes in person or online. The open house is a wonderful opportunity to meet the faculty behind the programs.”
In addition to advanced degrees, Salve Regina offers 24 certificate programs – earned after 12 credits – in a range of concentrations, including business, Catholic school leadership, cybersecurity and forensics, human resources, leadership, nonprofit management, expressive and creative arts, entrepreneurship and counseling.
