Theatre arts major Morgan Grambo ’14 recently placed second in Music Theater, Division 2 at SongFest, the annual singing competition held by the Rhode Island chapter of the National Association Of Teachers of Singing.

Held March 1 at the University of Rhode Island, this year’s competition featured singers from all over the state, ages 13 through adult. Grambo performed “Here Alone” from “Little Women” and “Come To Your Senses” from “Tick Tick Boom.”

Grambo has appeared in several of Salve Regina’s theater productions and has participated in the annual opera workshop and StageFright, the college improv troupe. She is a voice student of adjunct faculty member Eden Casteel.

Katie O’Rourke ’14, a voice student of adjunct faculty member Roberta Bishop, also competed in the music theater division, while film major Daniella Pantoliano ’14 was hired to record Grambo’s SongFest experience for an upcoming online video.
