Jennifer Royle ’96, an Emmy award-winning sports broadcaster, will discuss her experiences in sports broadcasting at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 3 in the O’Hare Academic Center, Room 260.

Royle is currently the co-host of “Sports Town,” a sports talk show on the Boston Herald’s new radio station. She is also a sports columnist for the newspaper and this year started her own company, SportsReelBoston.com, which provides news, video and feature stories about the Boston Red Sox.

Before returning to Boston, Royle covered the Ravens, Orioles and Washington Nationals as a field reporter for WJZ-FM in Baltimore. Earlier in her career, she covered Major League Baseball for the Yes Network in New York City.

Royle’s talk is sponsored by the Department of English in conjunction with the English communications major.
