Madison Jalbert named CHC’s goalie of the week

The Colonial Hockey Conference (CHC) has named netminder Madison Jalbert ’22 as its Goalie of the Week.
Jalbert went 2-0 on the weekend for Salve Regina to kick-off 2020 in a series sweep of New England College. The sophomore made 50 total saves, allowing just one goal, and picked up her first career shutout. The sophomore netminder made 32 saves while surrendering only one goal in Friday’s victory, she followed that with a 17-save shutout of the Pilgrims on Saturday.
The Seahawks (3-9-0) will travel to face Johnson & Wales this Friday, Jan. 10, at 7 p.m., in the first game of a weekend series with the Wildcats.
