The men’s soccer team (9-0-2, 2-0-1 CCC) has been ranked No. 17 in the country according to a national poll powered by BennettRank and published on HEROsports.com. The Seahawks have their best start ever to a season through 11 games, besting the previous mark set in 2012.

“It’s nice for our program to be recognized in one of the national polls,” said head coach Craig O’Rourke II. “For our program right now, we just need to be focused on taking this season one match at a time and putting forth our best soccer – both technically and tactically – each and every moment that we are on the field.”

The Seahawks played to a 3-3 draw with visiting Johnson & Wales University in non-conference action Oct. 3 and travel to face Commonwealth Coast Conference opponent University of New England on Saturday, Oct. 6.
