Nicole Parry ’16 has been named the Commonwealth Coast Conference pitcher of the week for softball, the second time this season she has earned the honor.

She earned victories against three conference teams last week, posting a 3-1 record and a 0.72 ERA, and notching 33 strikeouts against just one walk in 29-1/3 innings of work.

Parry opened the week with seven shutout innings in a 6-0 victory at Gordon College. In nine innings of work in a 6-5 victory over Western New England University, she allowed just two earned runs on 11 hits. Parry closed out the week by tossing a five-hitter in a 4-0 triumph against Curry College.

The Seahawks are tied for second place with Roger Williams University, and play the Hawks at 3 p.m. Wednesday in Bristol. Salve Regina will host its final conference doubleheader of the regular season when Endicott College comes to Toppa Field at 4 p.m. Monday, April 21.
