Residence Life hosting Housing Resource Fair

Students living both on and off campus are invited to attend the Housing Resource Fair, sponsored by the Office of Residence Life. The fair will be held from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Monday, Oct. 16 in the O’Hare Academic Building lobby and from 1-3:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 17 in the Wakehurst fireplace lounge.

“The Housing Resource Fair was instated to give students the opportunity to explore both their on-campus and off-campus housing options at Salve,” said Alex Ferri, area coordinator. “Students will be able to connect with Salve Regina departments and Newport community partners to help guide them on their housing journey.”

Salve Regina offices and Newport community partners scheduled to attend include:

  • Dean of Students Office
  • Financial Aid
  • Residence Life
  • Safety and Security
  • Cox Communications
  • Newport Police Department
  • Santander Bank

Not only will fair attendees be able to learn more about the on-campus housing selection process, but also information regarding off-campus housing. Realtor information will be available to those searching for places to live off-campus, as well as insight on the current housing market and what is available to Salve students.
