Students encouraged to attend study abroad information sessions
The Center for Global Education and Fellowships offers over 200 programs in over 40 countries for undergraduate students at Salve Regina — including year-long, semester-long and short-term opportunities.
For students who aren’t sure where to start in the process of thinking about studying abroad, 20-30 minute information sessions are happening all semester. These sessions are led by a student global ambassador, and the sessions cover study abroad options, key factors to consider and creating a roadmap to making study abroad a reality.
All students are welcome to drop in for a study abroad information session. These information sessions are held every Monday through Thursday at 4 p.m. in Drexel Hall. No registration is needed, but students can register in advance if they want to here.
For any quick questions, students interested can send an email to studyabroad@salve.edu with a brief description of where they are in the search for a program and what they need help with so that the center can help find the best international program. The team can answer questions about topics such as study abroad costs, application processes, deadlines, courses abroad and much more.
There will be some other options to keep informed about upcoming study abroad opportunities, including pop up events and tables around campus in the coming days and weeks. Students are also encouraged to keep an eye on the Instagram account for the Center for Global Education and Fellowships.
