Students invited to join Learning Unlimited program
Looking for an opportunity to make a difference and/or complete your required community service hours? Consider joining Learning Unlimited, an educational program that promotes an inclusive learning community at Salve Regina by creating an accessible and welcoming environment for people with developmental disabilities.
Learning Unlimited creates opportunities for undergraduate students and people with developmental disabilities to learn from each other through education, recreation and socialization.
In past years, participants have created a book highlighting the defining moments of their lives, displayed their photographs in a gallery exhibit and produced self-advocacy presentations. This year’s Learning Unlimited Program will focus on wellness.
Students who are interested in Learning Unlimited are encouraged to attend an information session at 6 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 28 in McAuley Hall, Room 105. For more information, contact Michele Banks at firstname.lastname@example.org or (401) 862-0403.
