Cornerback Phil Terio ’15 picked up his second preseason all-America nod as he was named to the Beyond Sports Network (BSN) all-American first team.

Just a week after being named to the Lindy’s College Football preseason all-America second team, Terio landed on the BSN first team for his second preseason honor. Last season, he was a BSN all-American as well as a D3football.com all-American as both a cornerback and return specialist. In 2012, Terio set the NCAA Division III record for most interceptions returned for a touchdown (4) and tied the touchdown return record (6).

Terio is the only representative of the New England Football Conference on the BSN all- America first team and is just one of four players to garner the first team honors from the New England region.

The Seahawks open their 2013 season at home against Bridgewater State University on Sept. 7.
