Tickets available for Commencement Week events

Tickets for all Commencement Week activities – ranging this year from a night at Gurneys Newport Resort’s Pineapple Club to the highly anticipated Commencement Ball – are now available. Held each May between finals and graduation weekend, Commencement Week is one of Salve Regina’s most enduring traditions.

Members of the Class of 2019 may purchase tickets by visiting the Commencement Week Eventbrite page. The deadline to purchase tickets is noon on Monday, April 29.

Senior brunch

10 a.m. Monday, May 13, Ochre Court, $15

Tickets include one mimosa or bloody mary and a brunch buffet featuring eggs, bacon, pastries, French toast, carving stations and home fries. Due to limited capacity, guest tickets are not available for this event.

Toast to Newport

7-9 p.m. Tuesday, May 14, Pineapple Club at Gurney’s Newport Resort, $20

Tickets include a prosecco toast at sunset (7:45 p.m.) and traditional Rhode Island appetizers such as lobster rolls, calamari and frozen lemonade. Due to limited capacity, guest tickets are not available for this event.

Senior clambake

6 p.m. Wednesday, May 15, Ochre Court, $20

Tickets include a cash bar and clambake dinner featuring lobster, chicken breast, stuffed quahogs, steamers, corn, potatoes, dessert and more. Due to limited capacity, guest tickets are not available for this event.

Commencement Ball

7 p.m. Thursday, May 16, Newport Marriott, $65

Tickets include cash bar, appetizer reception, dinner and dancing. Seniors may purchase guest tickets beginning Monday, April 22. Guests do not need to be Salve Regina students.

Senior cocktail party

7-9 p.m. Friday, May 17, Ochre Court, $5

Tickets include passed hors d’oeuvres and a cash bar will be available. Seniors may purchase guest tickets beginning Monday, April 22. Guests do not need to be Salve Regina students.
