Tickets for Commencement Week events now available

Tickets for all Commencement Week activities – ranging this year from a night at the Newport Blues Cafe to the highly anticipated Commencement Ball – are now available. Held each May between finals and graduation weekend, Commencement Week is one of Salve Regina’s most enduring traditions.

To purchase tickets, visit the Commencement Week Eventbrite page. The deadline to purchase tickets is noon Monday, May 7.

Senior brunch

10 a.m. Monday, May 14, Ochre Court, $15

Tickets include a brunch buffet and one mimosa or bloody mary. Due to limited capacity, guest tickets are not available for this event.

Senior social

10 p.m. Tuesday, May 15, Newport Blues Cafe, $10

Featuring the Felix Brown Band, the senior social will be held at Newport Blues Cafe, located at 286 Thames St. Students may purchase one guest ticket for the event. Guests do not need to be Salve Regina students, but must be at least 21.

Senior clambake

6 p.m. Wednesday, May 16, Ochre Court, $20

A portion of the ticket price will be donated as a Senior Challenge gift to the Spirit Fund. Due to limited capacity, guest tickets are not available for this event.

Commencement Ball

7 p.m. Thursday, May 17, Newport Marriott, $65

The 68th annual Commencement Ball will be held at the Newport Marriott, located at 25 America’s Cup Ave. Students may purchase one guest ticket for the event beginning Monday, April 23. Guests do not need to be Salve Regina students.

Students should check the ticketing website for meal selections. A cash bar will be available. Must be 21 and present valid ID to purchase alcohol.

Senior cocktail party

7 p.m. Friday, May 18, Ochre Court, $5

Passed hors d’oeuvres and a cash bar will be available. Must be 21 and present valid ID to purchase alcohol. Students may purchase one guest ticket for the event beginning Monday, April 23. Guests do not need to be Salve Regina students.

      Meet with a member of Admissions Office to hear about Salve Regina's mission, campus life and academics directly from an admissions counselor in a group setting. It's a great introduction to Salve Regina and all the opportunities that exist for you here. 

      A virtual information session is designed for those who are in the college search and application process. If you would like to learn more about Salve Regina University and have your questions answered in a live chat, this is the best place to start. Our sessions last approximately one hour.

      You will also be able to view our virtual tour as part of your registration for this presentation. 

      Preregistration is required.

    • Reunion Weekend
      Friday, June 3 to Sunday, June 5

      Reunion Weekend will be packed with exciting events both on and off campus. It's been too long since we've been able to welcome you to campus for a reunion celebration, so these events are sure to be worth the trip back to Newport. Return to campus and reconnect with your classmates - all alumni are welcome to attend.

      Hear from University leaders the state of student life and where Salve Regina is headed. Whether you’ve recently graduated or you’re returning after a hiatus, campus has updates!
      This event will be live on campus and live-streamed for those unable to attend in person. Please register to receive the Zoom link for the live stream.
