Vehicle registration for 2019-2020 now available

The vehicle registration process is open for the 2019-2020 academic year. All previously issued resident and commuter decals have expired.

Students must register their vehicle online through the portal. The registration form is located in the User Account section of My Information. Commuter students are reminded to enter a local address when prompted. The cost is $125 per year for undergraduate automobiles/motorcycles, $62 per year for graduate students and $75 per year for scooters, which will be automatically billed to the student account.

As a reminder, first-year resident students are not permitted to have automobiles on campus or within the city of Newport during the academic year (September-May).

Students may pick up their parking permits in the Office of Safety and Security between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Monday-Friday beginning Sept. 2. A valid registration, proof of insurance and a Salve ID is needed to pick up parking permits. All students must have a valid parking permit by Monday, Sept. 9. Failure to have a valid permit may result in ticketing and towing.
