The Office of Career Development will be offering weekly career tips to encourage all students to stay on top of their career planning as the semester moves ahead. Read below for this week’s tips!

Don’t forget to schedule a remote appointment

Students may use Handshake to schedule a remote appointment with career development via phone or video conferencing. Please be sure to provide a phone number in the appointment notes so the career advisor can reach out.

You may also email the office at career@salve.edu to work on resumes, cover letters and other application documents via email.

Enroll in the Portfolium Pathways Program

We’d also like to highlight our Portfolium Pathways Program. Once you enroll in this program, you’ll be able to complete a number of career development tasks designed to help you refine your career interests and prepare for life after Salve Regina. You’ll also be able to earn virtual badges along the way!

An overview of the program is below, and you can click on any of the pathways to get started. Regardless of your class year, feel free to start wherever you’d like.

Join Year 1: Assess | Join Year 2: Explore

Join Year 3: Engage | Join Year 4: Launch

Please touch base with the Office of Career Development at career@salve.edu with any questions, as we are here to support you during this time!

Each Thursday, SALVEtoday will provide tips for success as well as success stories of current students and alumni to encourage and uplift the University community during this time of remote living and learning. #salvesgotthis #salvesuccess
