Willow seeking submissions, hosting workshop
The Willow, Salve Regina’s literary magazine, is seeking student submissions of artwork, photography, poetry and prose. Submissions will be accepted through Monday, Feb. 20 at thewillowliterarymagazine.submittable.com.
Due to an overflow of submissions last semester, the editors are now asking that each student submit no more than four pieces of work per submission period.
The Willow is also partnering with the Modern Ink creative writing club to host a writers’ workshop from 2-4 p.m. Friday, Feb. 17 in the McKillop Library. Pizza will be served and a goodie bag will be provided to all who RSVP. Interested writers can RSVP and send their works to email@example.com.
The Willow holds weekly meetings in the Antone Academic Center, Room 122 at 8 p.m. Tuesdays. Students who are interested in editing written works or gaining experience with social media management and graphic design are welcome to attend.
