Summer in Rome program offers wide variety of courses
Can you picture yourself in Rome this summer? Led by Dr. James Mitchell and Rosemary Condella, Salve Regina’s summer program at the American University of Rome allows students to earn six credits by choosing two courses from a variety of offerings.
An information session for the program will be held at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 29 in the O’Hare Academic Center, Room 262. Scheduled for May 26 to June 27, the Summer in Rome program is a great option for students looking to fill core complements or anyone studying art, film, business, history or cultural and historic preservation.
On-campus and on-site courses, taught by American University of Rome faculty, offer students a range of possibilities to study in the ancient city of Rome. Students live in their own fully equipped apartments, minutes from the center of the old city and the Vatican.
The program fee is $6,500, which includes round-trip airfare, tuition for six credits, airport transfers, accommodations in student apartments, two or three group meals while in Rome, one field trip, official excursions and entrance fees, and international travel insurance.
