Office of Strategic Communications and Public Affairs wins five digital marketing awards
Five separate digital marketing campaigns produced by Salve Regina’s Office of Strategic Communications and Public Affairs were announced as 2021 gold, silver, bronze and merit winners in the 9th Annual Education Digital Marketing Awards.
More than 1,000 entries were received from colleges, universities and secondary schools across the country. A national panel of industry specialists reviewed each piece submitted, judging creativity, marketing execution, message impact, technology application and innovation content. While a number of the entries submitted were produced by outside agencies on behalf of their higher education clients, all of the Salve Regina submissions were produced in-house.
“Education marketing professionals have faced great obstacles in their efforts to present viable and useful information through their websites, digital content, electronic communications, mobile media and social media and it showed,” the Education Digital Marketing team stated about the awards.
Salve Regina was awarded gold medals for both its “COVID-19 Response Campaign: Reopening Plan and COVID-19 Communication Strategy for the 2020-2021 Academic Year” and for its “Digital Video Ad: Discover Salve Regina University.”
The team was awarded a silver medal for “Digital Video Over 2 Minutes: Experience Newport, R.I.” and a bronze medal for “Social Media Content: Week of Welcome Campaign.” Salve Regina was also awarded merit recognition for its “Digital Video Under 2 Minutes: Salve Regina University Contains Possibility.”
