17 Salve Regina field hockey players earn national recognition
This year, over 2,050 student-athletes from more than 140 Division III institutions earned recognition on the 2020 NFHCA Division III National Academic Squad.
The Division III National Academic Squad program honors student-athletes who have achieved a cumulative grade-point average of 3.3 or higher through the first semester of the 2020-2021 academic year. Seventeen members of the Salve Regina women’s field hockey team made the squad.
“Although the fall semester was not filled with competition, our student-athletes continued to succeed on the field and in the classroom,” said head coach Jennifer Foster. “Our coaching staff is proud of our team’s continued academic success and how our players balance both academic and athletic demands as college student-athletes.”
