Recognize above-and-beyond service of your Salve Regina colleagues during pandemic
As Salve Regina University continues to navigate through unprecedented times resulting from the current global coronavirus pandemic, it is evident that members of the community are taking extraordinary measures to assist others through unexpected transitions to continue operations and to maintain a safe and healthy University.
Individuals across Salve Regina have been working creatively and tirelessly to ensure that the University is successful in this endeavor, and it’s been truly significant to see a community that has come together in such meaningful ways.
“Because we have such a strong community, we have been able to rally together in extraordinary ways during this crisis to serve our students,” said Dr. Kelli J. Armstrong, president of Salve Regina. “Some of our Salve faculty and staff have gone way above and beyond the call of duty in their service, and I think it is very important to recognize their efforts. Please take a few minutes to let us know about them so that we can express our gratitude for their superb work.”
The University wants to know about these individuals who are going above and beyond – faculty, staff, students, vendors or anyone within our community who has made a difference at this time. Recognizing and celebrating the hard work of our community helps us all stay connected. Salve’s “got this” because of all of every single person’s commitment to the University’s success.
Here are just some of the recognitions so far:
“Thank you to IT, who have collectively done a wonderful job keeping us up and running. I’ve had a few minor tech issues setting up courses, and IT has been so quick to help me get them running. Grateful for you all!”
“I’m really thankful for our wonderful librarians, who are working so hard to keep access to library resources up and running. Interlibrary loan has been so helpful as I try to work on projects at home. You’re the best!”
Through the end of April, please help share the good that is happening on campus and beyond! Click on the link to submit recognitions.
