Wellness Wednesdays: Mental health tips – gratitude journaling
It’s halfway through week two of Salve Regina’s remote learning through Virtual Salve, and Counseling Services is sharing another mental health tip to help you through this time.
The video below is by Meghan DeCarvalho, director of Counseling Services at Salve Regina. In this video, DeCarvalho walks you through the idea of creating a gratitude journal. She explores the reasons why the concept of gratitude is so important, especially right now during a pandemic, and she breaks both down personal and professional reasons that gratitude is helpful.
Watch the video below as DeCarvalho walks viewers through creating a gratitude journal.
Wellness Wednesdays: Mental Health – Gratitude Journaling
Meghan DeCarvalho is a social worker and director of Counseling Services at Salve Regina. She has been working in college mental health for over thirteen years and has been at Salve Regina for almost four years. She is so pleased to be part of the University community and is amazed (and not surprised) by the resilience of the students.
