Wellness Wednesdays: Mental health tip – a message to seniors
As the semester wraps up during finals week, Counseling Services wanted to offer one last video — and this one is addressed to Class of 2020.
The video below is by Meghan DeCarvalho, director of Counseling Services. In it, she shares a message to Salve Regina’s seniors. DeCarvalho knows the Class of 2020 is very heartbroken that they were not able to end their last two months at Salve Regina in the way they anticipated. She wanted to acknowledge this reality and take time to share this grief with seniors, while also celebrating how much they’ve grown.

Meghan DeCarvalho is a social worker and director of Counseling Services at Salve Regina. She has been working in college mental health for over thirteen years and has been at Salve Regina for almost four years. She is so pleased to be part of the University community and is amazed by the resilience of the students.
