Greetings to the Class of 2024 from the Mercy Center
“Welcome to the Salve Regina Family! Get involved!”
This fall, when you begin your time at Salve Regina, you will hear those words over and over. You may become tired of them. You may feel that they are too demanding as you launch into your college years. Get involved? you’ll think. I just got here. I barely know my way around. I don’t even know what I have to offer yet.
College is a time of discovery about the world and about yourself. You will need a place that both challenges and supports you. At the Mercy Center for Spiritual Life, you will find a welcoming community excited to meet you and walk with you as you search and grow during your Salve Regina years.

Hello there, Class of 2024, and welcome to Salve Regina! The Mercy Center welcomes you with positivity and open arms! My name is Chera, and I have been part of the Mercy Center since I was a Freshman, and I am so happy to be part of it now as a senior. The Mercy Center is a great place to participate in mass, socialize, have fun, participate in community service and make wonderful memories with your friends and fellow classmates. I am so happy I joined when I did, and I have made so many friends along the way. The Mercy Center has brought me great joy, and I recommend that everyone come to at least one event during their time here at Salve. We host tons of fun events during the school year, the Christmas Party being one of my favorites. Everyone is welcome here, and everyone is loved here for who they are. So, come on in and say hello, and I guarantee you’ll love it here! (P.S. There is also the cutest dog here named Mini Pearl. It doesn’t get any better than that!).” —Chera Robinson ’21
