Wellness Wednesdays: Video on the idea of “both/and” thinking
Counseling Services is continuing a tradition that started during the initial quarantine in the spring of 2020 by sharing occasional Wellness Wednesday tips on SALVEtoday.
The mental health tip offered today video below is by Meghan DeCarvalho, a social worker and director of counseling services at Salve Regina. She has been working in college mental health for over thirteen years and is starting her fifth year at Salve Regina.
After welcoming the Class of 2024 last week during orientation and speaking with them about this idea of having multiple feelings about the same event (i.e. starting college at Salve Regina in the midst of this season of change and adjustment), DeCarvalho thought she would share this similar message with the larger Salve Regina community.
