Virtual Study Abroad Fair offers students a wide range of study abroad programs
Students interested in study abroad experiences are invited to explore the many options that Salve Regina has to offer at the Virtual Study Abroad Fair, which is scheduled for 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 1.
Salve Regina’s study abroad opportunities span six continents and more than 40 countries. Programs range in duration from two-week, three-credit options to a full academic year abroad. Service learning opportunities and internships for academic credit are also available, and students from all academic majors and class levels will find an experience that fits their interests and needs.
During the Virtual Study Abroad Fair, students can live chat with various study abroad representatives for semester and year-long programs, learn more about short-term program offerings, and get program match suggestions based on interests such as location, time frame and subject.
Additional virtual events that day include a “Study Abroad 101” general information session from 2:30 – 3:30 p.m., as well as the “Adventures in Another Land Alumni Panel” from 4 – 5 p.m., during which study abroad alumni will share their own overseas experiences and answer questions from prospective study abroad students.
