Study abroad peer advising and informational sessions
If an undergraduate student is interested in studying abroad, the Office of International Programs is offering multiple ways over the remainder of the fall semester for students to learn more about the study abroad programs that are available.
All these events listed below are virtual, and they can be accessed using the same link to Zoom (or bit.ly/SalveStudyAbroad). Use the password SalveAbrd! if it’s necessary.
Study Abroad Information Session
If a student is interested in studying abroad but doesn’t know where to start, they can join the Global Ambassadors for a quick crash course on everything they need to know to start their study abroad journey.
Events are listed below:
- Mondays: November 2, November 9, November 16, November 23, November 30, December 7 from 4 – 4:30 p.m.
- Thursdays: October 29, November 5, November 12, November 19, December 4, December 10 from 4 – 4:30 p.m.
Study Abroad Drop-In Peer Advising
Already attended a study abroad information session, but still have a couple quick questions? Pop in to a Study Abroad Drop-In Peer Advising session to chat with one of the Office of International Program’s Global Ambassadors. These study abroad alums can answer a student’s questions about topics such as study abroad costs, application processes, deadlines, courses abroad and much more!
Events are listed below:
- Tuesdays: November 10, November 24, and December 8 from 11 a.m. – noon
- Tuesdays: November 3, November 17, and December 1st from 1-2 p.m.
- Wednesdays: October 28, November 11, December 9 from 2:30-3:30 p.m.
- Wednesdays: November 4, November 18, December 2 from 4-5 p.m.
