Call for nominations for a staff advisory council
The creation of a staff advisory council was announced by President Kelli J. Armstrong during the recent town hall for faculty and staff on Jan. 15. Nominations for the council should be submitted by Friday, Feb. 5.
“During my regular office hours with our staff, the creation of a staff advisory council came up as an idea. Although we have a well-organized faculty assembly, we don’t have an equivalent group to represent the needs of our staff,” described President Armstrong during the Town Hall.
The staff advisory council will facilitate communication between departments on campus, as well as offer advice on new policies and ways in which the University can enhance the experience of staff at Salve. The group will meet monthly throughout the year, with the first group of participants serving as a steering committee to organize the council.
If you would like to participate in the staff advisory council, or to nominate someone for participation, please submit nominations using this form. Nominations should be submitted by Friday, Feb. 5.
