Students invited to workshop on lobbying, activism and advocacy
Salve Regina alumna Marisa León-Gómez Sonet ’15 is returning to offer a virtual workshop called “Making Change: A Workshop on Lobbying, Activism and Advocacy” to students interested in making their voice heard. The event will be held on Zoom on Wednesday, Feb. 10, at 4 p.m., and it is co-hosted by Office of Community Engagement and Service and the Office of International Programs.

Sonet also has experience working with the Institute for Justice and Reconciliation in Cape Town, South Africa, The Trust for the Americas, an organization affiliated to the Organization of America States (OAS) in Washington, D.C. and the Auschwitz Institute in New York.
