Graduate students encouraged to submit projects for SRyou Student Exposition Day
As the 2021-22 academic year continues, the newly formed Graduate Student Association (GSA) is building momentum and engagement. One of the GSA’s biggest achievements thus far has been to initiate a partnership with the undergraduate programs for SRyou Student Exposition Day on Wednesday, March 23, from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
For those graduate students who aren’t familiar with SRyou Student Exposition, it’s a day where students at Salve Regina come together to share their academic achievements. On SRyou Student Exposition Day, graduate students and doctoral students are now invited to present their research, projects or creative endeavors with the wider University community.
To see the presentation formats and more information, please visit the graduate’s SRYou Student Exposition application. The deadline for submissions is Feb. 25.
As a reminder, the Graduate Student Association is focused on three key pillars at Salve Regina: cultivating academic support, overall advocacy for graduate students and creating social opportunities.
The GSA has had a great first year so far, as it has built up a small but loyal group of regular participants. It’s also been able to hold virtual monthly meetings, host in-person social events at local venues, and cultivate conversations across campus on how to further incorporate graduate students into the overall culture at Salve Regina.
