Seahawks land 134 on Academic All-Conference Team, achieve record academic success

Salve Regina has landed 134 student-athletes on the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) 2022 Spring Academic All-Conference Team. This is a record-breaking number for Seahawks who have achieved academic success while being student athletes.

The Academic All-Conference Team consists of any starter or significant reserve who has attained at least sophomore status at start of competition and has maintained an overall minimum GPA of 3.30 on a scale of 4.00. This is the 10th time the honor has been separated into two seasons – fall and spring.

A record 941 Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) student-athletes were named to the league’s Spring Academic All-Conference Team. The spring list includes participants from each of the CCC’s member institutions who participated in baseball, men’s and women’s basketball, men’s golf, men’s and women’s ice hockey, men’s and women’s lacrosse, softball, men’s tennis, and men’s and women’s track and field.
