Mosaic hosting new logo design contest
The editors of Mosaic, Salve Regina’s student newspaper, are hosting a logo design contest as part of their effort to develop a new brand.
Open to students with a passion for graphic design and a creative mind, the contest will run through 6 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 10. Entries should be submitted as a large JPG file to brittany.lauro@salve.edu. The winner will receive a $20 Starbucks gift card.
Mosaic upholds the concerns of every student and strives to be the go-to source for information concerning Salve Regina student life, as well as Newport County happenings. Reporting on-campus, local and international news, as well as opinion, arts and entertainment, and fashion trends, Mosaic remains a source of knowledge for students. Articles are written entirely by students and for students. Mosaic publishes semester print issues and biweekly online editions at www.srumosaic.com.
The logo design contest is not only a resume-builder for graphic design or marketing majors, but also a chance to represent the student body. Mosaic is open to all new logo ideas, so be imaginative. For more information, email editor in chief Brittany Lauro at brittany.lauro@salve.edu.
