11 Seahawks named to academic all-conference team

The men’s ice hockey team has landed a program-best 11 players on the Eastern College Athletic Conference Northeast all-academic team. To be named to the all-academic team, students must have completed at least one academic year at their current institution and have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.00.
Two of the 11 honorees were previously named to the ECAC Northeast all-conference team, as David Chiokadze ’16 and Peter Gintoli ’16 earned a spot on the honorable mention team.
The additional athletes named to the academic all-conference team include:

- Matthew Carroll ’15, business administration
- Liam Centrella ’16, undecided
- Chase Davis ’14, business administration
- Cameron Gaudet ’16, education
- William Gomolinski ’14, financial management
- Scott McMenimen ’15, business administration
- Michael Naso ’15, business and psychology
- David Watkins ’14, administration of justice
