McKeon named to NEILA all-star team
Curtis McKeon ’14 has been named to the New England Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (NEILA) East D-III senior all-star team, marking the first time in program history that a Seahawk has earned this recognition.
McKeon capped his Salve Regina career in style, captaining the Seahawks to their first-ever appearance in the Eastern College Athletic Conference New England championship and earning most outstanding player honors. Salve Regina (15-5) finished with its most wins ever in a single season, which included a program best seven-game win streak.
McKeon is among the all-time leaders in several categories, including first in ground balls (629), first in face-offs won (875), first in face-off win percentage (.614), sixth in points (129), seventh in assists (48) and eighth in goals (81).
The NEILA All-Star game will be held at Springfield College on Friday, May 30.
