Championship Saturday, November 3

Several Seahawks athletics teams will participate in “Championship Saturday” games tomorrow. Students choosing to take advantage of spectator buses will be required to sign up in the athletic director’s office between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. on Friday, and present a valid ID at the time of boarding. Following is the schedule:
Men’s rugby will play in the CCRC Championship game against Roger Williams University at Fort Adams at 11 a.m. Spectator bus will depart from Rodgers Recreation Center at 10:15 a.m.
Sailing will host the Rhode Island State Championships regatta (the Sister Esther Open) on both Saturday and Sunday at Fort Adams. Racing begins each day after a 10 a.m. race meeting. Spectator bus departs from Rodgers Recreation Center at 10:15 a.m.
The football team will celebrate “senior day” and square off against Nichols College at noon at Gaudet Field in Middletown. Spectator bus will depart from Rodgers Recreation Center at 11:15 a.m. A win on Saturday guarantees the Seahawks football program with a spot in the NEFC Championship game on Nov. 10.
Men’s soccer plays in the CCC championship game against Nichols at 1 p.m. on Brother Reynolds Field.
Women’s volleyball plays its CCC championship game at Roger Williams University at 1p.m.
Women’s ice hockey plays Holy Cross at 7 p.m. at St. George’s.
