Seahawks capture division title on Senior Day

The Salve Regina football team notched a 45-7 victory over Nichols College Nov. 3, capturing its first New England Football Conference Boyd Division title since 2000 and improving to 9-1 overall, including a 6-1 mark during division play.

The Seahawks will travel to Framingham State University at 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 10 for the NEFC championship game.

Prior to the contest, Salve Regina honored seniors Richard Burke, Brendan Deasy, Gregory Gosselin, Nick Habosian, Anthony Hannon, Kevin Hilliard, Nick Hristis, Adam Iskra, Keith Johnson, Michael Kane, Daniel Kehew, Connor Kelly, Ryan Mannion, Matthew Markese, Kevin Moore, Ken Okwuosa, Lukas Oczkowski, Bryant Ostrander, William Regan, Trey Scales, Maxwell Shubert, Gregory Sweeney and Stephen Tomaselli.
