Bates earns all-conference nod

Forward Nicholas Bates ’17 has been named to the Commonwealth Coast Conference all-conference second team for men’s basketball.

With 13 double-doubles on the season, Bates ranks second in the league in rebounds per game (10.7) and field goal percentage (52.8). He leads the Seahawks in scoring at 15.9 points per game, ranking ninth in the conference.

Bates played in all 25 games for the Seahawks and helped the team lead the conference in field goal percentage (45.7) and ranking second in rebound margin per game (+6.5).
